Landy Chase, MBA, CSP – President and CEO

Landy Chase is a practice consultant and award-winning author and speaker who specializes in training orthodontic practices to increase the start rate of prospective patients. He provides highly effective, detailed procedures for doctors, TCs and staff to attract and acquire new orthodontic patients for client practices. He works exclusively within the orthodontic profession as a trainer, consultant and coach and has been a featured speaker at numerous study clubs around the United States. He has worked personally with over 100 client practices in just the last three years.

Chase’s personal qualifications rank among the top business trainers in the world and he brings nearly twenty-five years of successful client engagements to the business challenges of improving orthodontic case acceptance. Prior to his transition to orthodontics, he had domestic clients in over sixty industries and worked internationally with companies in Australia, Africa, Asia, Europe and South America. At the age of 40 he earned the CSP designation from the National Speakers Association, the highest earned level of excellence in the industry and a distinction representing the top seven percent of all professional speakers and trainers world-wide. Since 2012 he has published four books for the orthodontic profession, and those books on case acceptance have, to date, sold over 5,000 copies. He has also written over 100 articles for his Case Acceptance Tip of the Week column, now followed by nearly 2,000 orthodontists and staff around the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia.

Chase is a graduate of The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, and holds an MBA from Xavier University in Cincinnati. His corporate career included repeat national President’s Club awards as a marketing professional; he served as ES National Trainer for Automatic Data Processing (ADP) at the age of 28 and also served as Director of Business Development for Arthur Andersen, LLC prior to founding his own firm in 1993.

In his spare time, he and his wife Cami enjoy boating, water activities and friends in Charleston, as well as travel and spending time with their children and grandchildren.

 

Ashley Thompson, Director of Front Desk Training

As the Director of Front Desk Training for OrthoYES, Ashley Thompson brings a unique combination of extensive practice management experience, personal experience at the front desk, innovative training techniques and team leadership to the objective of maximizing the professionalism and effectiveness of your front desk staff.

As the office manager for one of the largest and most successful elective-procedure practices in the Southeast, Ashley has over a decade of experience in all facets of managing the new patient conversion process, including team building, front office management, reception, telephone/customer service skills, and recruiting and training front-desk personnel. Prior to her work in practice management, she also had seven years of management experience in a family business and takes a project-oriented approach to training your front desk team.

Ashley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Charleston Southern University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Project Management. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her son and traveling.

 

Keri Scott, Administrative Manager

Keri brings a wealth of career success, entrepreneurship and customer service excellence to our team, having started and run a highly successful, award-winning small business for over a decade while managing community relations and event marketing for two Chambers of Commerce here in the Carolinas prior to joining OrthoYES.

In her role as Administrative Manager, Keri manages all administrative and scheduling needs for our firm as well as numerous marketing and business development projects. She also assists in managing both Ashley and Landy’s client and speaking calendars and serves as a practice liaison in day-to-day communications with our clients.

In addition to her business management experience, Keri holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising and Design from the University of Delaware.

In her free time, Keri loves to exercise, create art and spend time with her 8 year old daughter. She enjoys working outside in her yard, relaxing on the beach and takes advantage of any activity that exposes her to the beauty of Charleston.

I am very much in favor of the typed AGENDA. I often feel that sometimes when we walk out to the reception area to get the patient for the ie picture/photo they just don’t know what is going to occur.
